Every wine by the glass is 50% off — the whole list, not a happy-hour pour. Beer is $7, well spirits $9, and the cocktails you would actually order — Aperol Spritz, Negroni, Gold Rush, Old Fashioned, French 75, Mule, margarita — are $10. Gin, vodka and espresso martinis are $12.
The food is a real menu rather than a bowl of olives: meatballs in vodka sauce, fried gnocchi, a cheese plate, salads, three pizzas and a vodka sauce fettuccine. Enough that happy hour turns into dinner more often than not.

Monday through Friday, 5:00 to 7:00 PM, in the bar and lounge.
What's on the happy hour menu?
All wines by the glass are half off. Draft and bottled beer $7, well spirits $9, and $10 builds including the Aperol Spritz, Negroni, Gold Rush, Old Fashioned, French 75, Mule and margaritas. Martinis — gin, vodka or espresso — are $12.
Is there happy hour food, or just drinks?
There's a full bites list: meatballs in vodka sauce $12, fried gnocchi $10, a cheese plate $13, Caesar or strawberry salad $12, plus pizzas from $12 and vodka sauce fettuccine $15.
Do I need a reservation for happy hour?
No — happy hour is walk-in at the bar and in the lounge. It fills fast on weekdays, so come early or reserve a table if you want to be sure of a seat.
Where is it — is it near the Gaslamp?
750 Front St in the Marina District, three blocks from the Gaslamp Quarter and a seven-minute walk from the San Diego Convention Center. Valet and underground parking on Union Street.
Can we stay on after happy hour?
Yes. Dinner runs straight through, and Thursday to Saturday the Medusa Room lounge behind the dining room stays open late — until 2 AM on Friday and Saturday.
