The room
A bar you sit at, not one you queue at.
Walk past the host stand and the room opens up behind the dining room — darker, quieter, built for a drink that takes an hour rather than one you finish standing up. A full Type-47 bar, a Greek mural on the back wall, and a neon sign that has become the most photographed thing in the building.
It works as the start of an evening, the end of one, or the whole thing. Walk-ins are welcome at the bar; the tables take reservations alongside the dining room.

Saturday evenings open with live harp — on the instrument Harpo Marx himself once owned. It runs while the room is still a lounge; later in the night the sound turns over to the DJs.

Does Salvatore's have a cocktail bar?
Yes — a full Type-47 bar with twelve signature cocktails alongside a deep spirits library of rye, bourbon, scotch, tequila, mezcal and cognac, plus a full wine list.
What are the signature cocktails?
The Meridian is the house luxury build — WhistlePig Rye, vanilla de Madagascar, demerara and orange bitters. Others include the Lychee Luxe, Gilded Wing, Sidecar Botánica, Amber Rush, La Rosita, Mint & Mist and an espresso martini.
Is there live music?
A harpist plays on Saturdays — on a harp once owned by Harpo Marx. Later in the week the room runs DJ-driven nights, Thursday through Saturday.
Can I drink at the bar without eating?
Yes. The bar and lounge take walk-ins, and happy hour runs Monday to Friday, 5 to 7 PM, with half-off wines by the glass and $10 cocktails.
How late does the bar stay open?
Until 2 AM on Friday and Saturday. Sunday through Wednesday the room closes at 10 PM, and Thursday at 11 PM.
What's the difference between the bar and the Medusa Room?
Same room, different half of the evening. Early on it's a cocktail lounge behind the dining room; from about 10 PM Thursday to Saturday it becomes the Medusa Room — darker, DJ-led, 21+, and bookable for private late-night parties.
